Project activities & events
The project involves networking events and face-to-face meetings, as well as the development and use of a bespoke social network site (Community Design Exchange) to implement a participatory, bottom-up approach to generate and disseminate evidence about the value of community-led design.
Community Design Exchange
CDE was developed by The Open University in collaboration with The Glass-House Community Led Design and offers a platform for people who are or have previously been involved in, or benefited from community led design projects, to contribute their stories and interact with others. We hope that the site will provide a highly visual and content rich gallery, which will be used to showcase achievements of community-led design. It will also provide a rich set of data, which can be analysed to articulate quantitative evidence. Click here to learn more.
